Questions & Answers!
Below are listed questions that have come to me from entrants and the answers provided - just in case you might have the same question!
I have a question about the OF Plastic Vintage Breyer division: is this division meant only for realistically-colored models, or can we show non-realistic models there also?
This division is judged on collectability and is open to both realistic and non-realistic colored models. Documentation is required on a card not larger than 4”x6”, and must include mold/model name, years produced, information on edition size/limitations (if applicable), variation, and any other information that might help in evaluating the model (do not mention value/price paid, etc.).
For showmanship with halter-can English showmanship in a bridle be used or would that be other performance?
Showmanship entries showing in a bridle should be placed in the Showmanship class.
Is steer wrestling an other performance or the roping/cow class?
Please put steer wrestling in the Roping/Cutting/Other Cattle Work class.
Can a Stone DAH show in both class #295 (Stone Arab) and class #306 (Extra Class DAH Light)?
Yes! As long as the entrant has paid to enter the DAH extra division, the model may show in both.
What is the difference between the collectability classes at the end of each division (example: classes #249-256) and the Collectable Division classes (#350-362)?
I realized that I didn't define this well in the show brochure. The difference between the collectability classes at the end of each OF division and the Collectable Division is, that though both are judged on finish, age, rarity, condition, etc., I will ask that judges to consider realism in the divisions other than the Collectable Division. The Collectable Division was put in place to cover those that may not be a realistic color (and splash dapple grays could qualify), were in an odd position (bucking, lying down, etc.), had tack, were attached to a lampshade, etc. Certainly there are other pieces that qualify to show here. In this division conformation is NOT considered.
Would a model be able to go in class #241 (Breyer Cldyes/Shires) and class #249 (Breyer Conn/Premiere Club) but not class #359 (Glossy Realistic Color)?
Depending on the model, it might be able to go in all three of those classes.
For Collectibility divisions after each breed division finishes (not the overall Collectable Division), is documentation required/allowed?
It is not required, but if you do supply it (which you may - it can be helpful) please keep it to 4" x 6".
Would western dressage and extreme cowboy challenge be other western-not listed?
Yes.
For limited production, is the 100 limit for total number or each color? E.g.,for Suspiro, there are 116 grays and 94 buckskins. Do the buckskins go in limited production?
Yes - for each color. However glossy and matte of the same color/model will be considered one color. The 94 in buckskin would be limited production, the 116 would not.
Are Handlers optional in class 181 Showmanship?
Yes.
For OF Mini Halter Mass Produced - at least 101 models must have been produced?
Yes. This will exclude MOST Chips models.
May Pebbles show in the mini division?
Yes.
Do we need a list of horses, could not find this in brochure.
No - no list of models is needed.
In the extra divisions like pebbles, is it still a 2 horse limit per class?
Yes. Though additional entries may be added for $1 each.

Just a note: Models may enter one breed and one collectability (or workmanship) class in a division.
Another note: The vintage division will be judged primarily on collectability - so unrealistic colors may show here.
Alchemy/Animal Artists Mini Chinas - the vast majority of these should be shown in OF NON STONE Ltd. Production, NOT OF China/Other Material Mass Production Mini Halter. One entrant noted that only two versions of the rearing Shire were made in quantities greater than 100.
Models purchased from the Animal Artistry Retail Therapy page should be considered Custom Glaze (per Donna Chaney) unless otherwise specified. You might want to provide documentation for clarification if you plan to show any of these models.
